Git 150 mg Tablet SR is an effectively increases movement of food and facilitates emptying of the stomach. It is used for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Functional Dyspepsia, and other associated motility disorders. Git 150mg Tablet SR is a prokinetic. It works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Gitune 150mg Tablet SR is to be taken empty stomach.
Precautions
Pregnancy: Use of this medicine in pregnant women is not recommended unless absolutely necessary. It should be used only if the potential benefits outweigh the associated risks. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Breast-feeding: Use of this medicine in breastfeeding mothers is not recommended. If the need of this medicine is absolutely necessary then breastfeeding should be discontinued prior to uptake. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
General warnings
Pediatric use: Use of this medicine is not recommended in children who are less than 16 years old.
Geriatric use: This medicine should be used with caution in elderly patients as the risk of side effects are increasingly high.
Bleeding of stomach and intestine: Report any instance indicating bleeding of the stomach like presence of blood in stools, black or coffee colored stools to the doctor. This medicine should not be used if bleeding is evident or even suspected.
Mechanical obstruction of stomach: Report any incidence indicating intestinal blockage like severe bloating, nausea, vomiting, severe abdominal cramps, constipation etc to the doctor. Use of this medicine is not recommended in such cases.
Other medicine: Report the use of all other medicine including supplements and herbs to the doctor while receiving this medicine.
